When Fabian De Domenico and his wife, Maria, started Fabcrest in a small workshop north of Toronto, they were producing simple metal parts with old equipment and a lot of hands-on work.
They weren’t thinking about scale. They were focused on figuring out how to make better parts, work faster, and get more out of their equipment.
Fabian started designing his own tooling and processes, pushing older machines to do more than they were built for. That ingenuity didn’t just improve output; it got noticed.
One customer believed in what he was doing enough to loan Fabcrest three machines to help them keep up with demand. Later, that same customer helped finance new equipment, turning Fabcrest into its exclusive parts manufacturer.
As the business grew, the next generation stepped in. Fabian’s son, Steven, and his daughters, Toni, Sandy, and Susy, helped expand operations, building on the early foundation that guided Fabcrest from a 6,000-square-foot shop to the 65,000-square-foot facility it operates in today.
We’ve invested in leading technology and automation — but the approach hasn’t changed.
