Lights-out manufacturing

The heart of our operation is the fully automated TRUMPF laser and CNC punching systems, connected through our STOPA large-scale storage system.

Material is stored, tracked, and fed directly into laser cutting and punching, allowing work to continue overnight and on weekends without interruption.

This “lights-out” setup reduces non-productive time, eliminates waiting for material, and removes dependency on operators to keep jobs moving.

CNC PUNCHING

CNC PUNCHING

Our CNC punching department is built around TRUMPF TruPunch 2000 and 5000 machines, giving us a mix of high-speed production and flexible capacity.

The 5000 series runs longer, repeatable programs with automated tool changing and lights-out capability, while the 2000 series supports shorter runs and quick changeovers when schedules shift.

FIBRE LASER

FIBRE LASER

Our TRUMPF fibre laser is the workhorse at the front of the shop, cutting mild steel, stainless, and aluminum with tight tolerances and clean, consistent edges.

Nitrogen cutting produces clean, oxide-free edges that move directly into forming without additional prep or cleanup. Our in-house nitrogen generation system ensures production keeps moving without relying on an external supply.

FORMING & BENDING

FORMING & BENDING

Our forming department is built around TRUMPF TruBend 3000, 5000, and 7000 series press brakes, along with our Salvagnini P2 automated panel bender, giving us the flexibility to handle everything from simple bends to complex multi-bend parts.

The TRUMPF brakes handle conventional forming with fast setups and consistent results across repeat runs, while the Salvagnini P2 uses automated bending cycles to complete multiple bends in a single sequence with minimal handling.

HARDWARE INSERTION

Hardware is installed during production using our Haeger OneTouch systems, ensuring fasteners, inserts, and studs are placed accurately and consistently across every part.

By integrating hardware installation into the process, we eliminate secondary operations and reduce handling – so components move forward fully prepared for assembly.

POWDER COATING

POWDER COATING

Our in-house, purpose-built powder coating system keeps finishing under our control. Parts move through wash, dry, coating, and oven in a continuous process, ensuring proper adhesion, consistent coverage, and a durable finish.

By keeping this entire process in-house, we eliminate delays, reduce handling, and deliver parts that are finished, protected, and ready for assembly.
